I am a clinical haematologist having trained in the best centres in the UK. The treatment of haematological cancers like leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma has seen a significant advance over the last decade. Patients are getting cured and surviving longer. Similarly newer developments in bone marrow transplantation means that we can now offer a transplant for every patient even if there is no fully matched donor available.
